A lover of words with an artistic appreciation for alliteration, Becksy Becks is a South Sudanese FLO poet whose writing explores a variety of personal life experiences, which she delivers in a relaxed, relatable, conversational style, often exploring the dichotomy between humour and tragedy. Having grew up in Birmingham and currently residing in London, United Kingdom.

Becksy’s poetry has commissioned pieces for the likes of Lulu Lemon, Redbull, Nike, Fifa and Bobbi Brown and performed her poetry across international stages. As a multifaceted artist she creates visuals with words and delivers ideas to her audience in a conversational and relatable style. Her family re-located to the UK at the age of 3 and since then, reading & writing have become vital components in maintaining her sanity and exploring her reality.
